Huh.  I'm sure that Project Diana has NOTHING to do with me.  But it was
kind of funny to read this, seeing:
Mine name is Diana
I was in the US Army Signal Corps
I was at Fort Monmouth NJ for my AIT training
Plus we were just at Fort Monmouth again...about 3 months ago!

Hello All,

Please disseminate our Special Event as detailed below to the Amateur 
Radio community via your publications and web sites.

PROJECT DIANA SPECIAL EVENT: 14 January 2007

To commemorate the first ever successful moon bounce experiment as 
conducted by the US Army Signal Corps held on 10 January 1946, the 
Ocean Monmouth ARC will operate as N2MO from 14 January 1400Z to 15 
January 0000Z (9 AM TIL 7 PM LOCAL TIME ) 2007 from the Amateur 
Radio/MARS station hosted at the historic Project Diana site located 
at the InfoAge Learning Center, Camp Evans Wall Township, New Jersey.

OMARC shall operate ALE/CW/PKS31/ 
RTTY/SSB and possibly other modes in 
the General and Novice/Technician sub bands of the 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 
meter bands and possibly elsewhere and for ALE will follow the HFlink 
U.S. recommended channels in the digital sub bands. There shall be at 
least two N2MO stations on the air at all times during the event.

of 1946 QST titled "A DX Record: To the Moon and Back, How the 
Moon-Radar Feat was Accomplished" written by Herbert Kaufpman, W20QU

All verified contacts are eligible to receive a color QSL for an 
S.A.S.E or the Project Diana Special Event Certificate suitable for 
framing for a 9x12 inch S.A.S.E and $1.00USD or $2.00USD without the 
S.A.S.E. sent to our N2MO callbook address.
