Faith N1JIT and Dan N1JEB purchased a good antenna for the top of the tower, but the rain has attacked it. Bobby-B WA1ZJG has been busy setting up a test stand for Dan and Tom to test the two Super Station Master antennas we now have. The plan is to have a choice of 3 antennas. The selection of which antenna is in use will be by touch tone command. This will allow remote users to enhance the performance of the repeater, and provide redundancy in the even of an antenna failure. There is also a dual 5/8 wave GAM antenna on the north (Town) face of the tower, which is planned to support APRS.

These are Bobby's 400-900 nanometer antenna's.
Tom WA1RHP is attaching the new antenna to the support pipe which is installed in the center of the tower with WA1ZJG custom mounts (only took three tries to get them installed!). The pipe gets pushed up about 10 feet for more height. You can see the gin pole is in the background.

Tom, WA1RHP is attaching the feedline to the new antenna.
The new receive antenna is on the top of the tower, and a re-conditioned transmit antenna (by WA1ZJG and N1MGO) is visable in the foreground.
Bobby-B WA1ZJG, has made custom antenna mounts for the sides of the tower.
Matt, is finishing the first side mounted antenna. This antenna has fiberglass side supports to prevent whipping in the wind, and to assure the spacing from the tower.
Tom WA1RHP, is attaching the feedline to the side mounted antenna. One of the fiberglass side supports is visible on the tower. Roger W1OJ, recommended 4 guy wire clamps, also visible in this frame.
